The dream turns into reality* The ever conscious New Bridge Hall School debaters turned their dreams into reality as they proved excellently their skills and intellect in the Junior Debate League competition held at New Bridge Hall, 15 Oguntuga Street, Ojokoro Road, Eyita, Ikorodu, Lagos, 14th March, 2018 on the topic "MOST SCHOOLS SUBJECTS ARE IRRELEVANT TO FUTURE SKILLS" It was a competition between NBH School and AtTanzeel School with three debaters and one independent speaker from the two schools, in which NHB debaters supported the motion of the topic while AtTanzeel debaters spoke against the motion. It was a memorable, educative, entertaining and informative program as the two parties communicated their audiences convincingly. Multiple Intelligences Students

By Leah Davies, M.Ed. In 1983, Howard Gardner, a noted Harvard psychologist and educator, wrote Frames of Mind. In it he claimed that human intelligence was more than a score gleaned from administrating an intelligence (IQ) test. He said that IQ tests cover verbal, logical, and some spatial intelligence, but lack acknowledgment of other forms of intelligence. After much research, he theorized that there are multiple intelligences that dictate how children and adults process and understand information. Dr. Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences (MI) validates what teachers have observed. Children think and learn in different ways. His work provides educators with a framework for reflecting on alternative methods of teaching and assessing student learning.
